Last month Kayrakkum Carpets welcomed a special guest - Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation President Emomali Rahmon. During his visit, President launched a new workshop for the production of raw materials with 70 new workplaces. The new extruder shop was purchased from leading Belgian, German and French manufacturers. Previously, raw materials used in the enterprise Carpets Kayrakkum were purchased from different countries, such as Turkey, Uzbekistan and more. To date, the new shop will provide raw materials for production, which will reduce the cost of carpets making it cost effective. The new workshop will mainly produce such yarns as heat set polypropylene and polypropylene BCF. The total volume of the produced yarn per month is 8.5 tons, per month 250 tons, per year 2 million 700 tons. Also, the leader of the nation, President Emomali Rahmon, visited our exhibition center and got acquainted with new collections of our carpets and highly appreciated our products. It should be noted that thanks to the leader of the nation, President Emomali Rahmon, who adopted the program in 2013 in support of carpet manufacturers during this period, we purchased six new machines from the leading Belgian manufacturer, Van De Ville, which allowed to increase the volume of carpets produced and provided new jobs. Lastly, during the visit by the leader of the nation, President Emomali Rahmon, he instructed us that in the near future we should increase the volume of carpets produced as well as open new jobs for the people of Tajikistan. In the nearest months, we will purchase a machine that will allow producing high-density carpets with more than one million knots per square meter. Every year, Kayrakkum Carpets improve their positions not only within the country, but also beyond its border such Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, China and more.
